The Double T Diner has been a fixture in the area for as long as I can remember. Large portions and great food especially the shrimp bisque (soup of the day on Saturday). Crab cakes are large and the Ceasar salad is great. Thanks for the large portion of parmesan cheese! Our waitress Jennifer was very attentive and friendly. As for the desserts, they are to die for. Take one home because you will be too full to eat there.
I stopped here, while traveling North through the state. Everyone at my table (including myself) enjoyed their meals! My husband is a Northern (at heart) and enjoyed getting menu items that just aren't available in the south. I found the menu to have multiple options for various taste. The desserts are not only beautiful... but also delicious! The staff was very friendly, and my coffee cup was never empty! There were a wide range of people here. Families. Couples. Small groups. Business men and women. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere quiet to go! Haha There is a ramp leading into the front door, and there are tables and booths. The bathroom was clean. And the parking lot had plenty of room although the diner was packed. Definitely go here!
We went on Mother's Day and the place was packed but our wait time was pretty short considering the amount of people there. Great selection of food, our waiter was wonderful and the food was very good. The pastries and cakes are home made and look delicious. We got an eclair and a piece of chocolate mouse cake, we're on our way home now to try out our desert. I'm sure it's good. Can't wait to go back again.

I had the best experience here. The food was quick, I never reached the bottom of my glass and the amount of food they give you is sure to fill you. The servers are quick to answer questions and help any way possible.
I remember why it's been years since I've been back. I wish I kept the receipt so I could tell you which waiter to avoid. I was so disappointed with the meal that I paid & tossed the receipt. The eggs were warm but runny, the potatoes were dry and the pancakes were thick & hard to swallow without a little help from my beverage. Remember when you were a kid and made pancakes for the first time without a measuring cup, too much flour or beat the mixture too much. I can say that my bacon was crisp and the water was cold. Try lunch or dinner you may have better luck
