Just left. The salesman completely ignored us. He told us he was leaving to get us information and never came back. We'll be taking our business elsewhere
I bought a fireplace late last summer. Scheduling the installation was a nightmare. My repeated requests for installation did not take me anywhere, until I shouted and screamed at them. Installation is done now but the fireplace does not work. I scheduled a service call for a Saturday and no one showed up.
I had a great experience with Courtland Hearth and Hardware. Sales reps in the Bel Air store were very knowledgeable. I purchased the Voyageur Grand wood insert. There were no surprises! I had an inspection done by their technician first to make sure everything was going to go as expected with the installation. it was about 2 weeks later at the time of my visit for the inspection. The inspector even looked at another stove I had down in the basement that I had questions about. The day after the inspections I was contacted to schedule my installation and I believe that was scheduled out about 2.5 weeks later. The installation went very well. I think total time of install was about 1.5 hours. The installer was a 14 yr. veteran of Courtland Hearth and Hardware and was very polite and answered all my questions during the installation. As for the product: The Quadra-Fire Voyageur Grand wood insert... LOVE IT!!! I am impressed with this stove. I can keep this stove burning all day and go through about 10 -15 pieces of wood. It will keep coals hot in my experience for about 12hrs, so I can go to bed at night, wake up in the morning stoke the coals and continue feeding this insert with wood without needed to start a fresh fire! Awesome insert and I highly recommend!
I would not recommend doing business with this place.
went to buy some parts for a pellet stove,what a rip off. The prices are double the normal price. When I asked why a employee told me the owner was just divorced and married a young girl and owns some race boat. I went a few miles to the Depot. Same part at 1/2 price.
